Recent Board Meeting Decisions
The Board has made the following decisions this year for your information:
- The Board developed, approved and circulated a Health and Safety Policy to all drivers. One of the requirements of that policy is that all drivers provide a medical clearance every two years.
- Ministry of Justice driver history checks will also need to be renewed on three yearly cycles.
- Barbara Climo, our Operations Coordinator, reinstated the MCVT Facebook page and has made regular posts. This has resulted in attracting new clients.
- MCVT now supports Alzheimer’s Marlborough and is transporting one passenger from Picton to Blenheim and return twice a week so that the passenger can attend support programmes.
- The Board approved the purchase of a backup mobile and a new laptop for use by the Operations Team.
