How it works
Marlborough Community Vehicle Trust is dedicated to help Marlburians get to their medical appointments.
Simply call us to book your transport. Our operations coordinator will organise a vehicle and a driver who will pick you up and transport you to your appointment and home again when you are finished.
Who can use our service?
Marlborough residents are eligible to use our transport service for medical appointments, however users must be a member of the Trust. Membership is just a small one-time fee of only $20 for lifetime membership. This is usually included in the fee the first time you use the service.
Currently, our fleet includes four vehicles based in Blenheim and Picton, ensuring quick response times throughout the region. Trust drivers offer transport across the Marlborough region.
Affordable Service
When booking, our operations coordinator will advise how much you will be required to pay, this is to be paid to your driver in cash who will provide you with a receipt if required.
A member traveling to Nelson for an appointment is $60.00 and within Marlborough just $30.00. This covers same day return service. Members travelling from Ward and Seddon should confirm costs when talking to our coordinator.
To schedule transportation, simply give us a call and our friendly coordinator will assist you in making arrangements.
What to expect

Call us to book transport to your medical appointment
Please book your transport with us as soon as you are able in order to give us time to organise a driver. We prefer at least 5 days notice, however emergency situations can be covered.
The Coordinator will take your details and organise a vehicle and driver for the day
Your driver will contact you to confirm the pick up time
Cash payment is made to the driver
They will drive you to your appointment and wait for you to drive you back home
